In Autumn 2012-13, I taught a standalone Math 153 class. The majority of the students in this course were first-year undergraduates who had scored a 5 on the Advanced Placement Calculus BC. A few of the students were taking the course after having completed Math 152, but the course was not aimed or targeted at them.
